Praise the Lord for a great weekend!  We began our weekend on a youth outing with Wood River Baptist Church.  We went on a fun hike to Purgatory Chasm in Massachusetts, then we went to a local milk farm where Brittany and I experienced a Rhode Island specialty "Coffee Milk".  We finished up our outing with ice cream and a challenge from the Word of God.  The evening brought back many great memories for us of growing up in our youth group at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.  For the morning service on the Lord's Day, we shared God's work in the UK.  We were so encouraged by Pastor Juneau and the people of Wood River Baptist Church.  A special thank you to the Asermelly family for hosting us during our time in Rhode Island.  Praise the Lord for the hospitality we were shown!
For the evening service on the Lord's Day, we traveled just a few minutes to Connecticut and joined Pastor Tim Gingarella and North Stonington Baptist Church for their evening service.  We arrived at this historic church to find out that this church was started in 1828 and the main building is the original structure.  When the church was started, it was called Third Baptist Church (a church plant from First Baptist Church a few minutes down the road).  This First Baptist Church was Shubal Stearns home church before he left for Sandy Creek, North Carolina in the mid 1700's to start a church.  From the church in Sandy Creek, Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church (our home church) was established in 1779.  What an awesome connection!!!  We thank the Lord for the warm welcome and fellowship we were able to have at this church as we shared our burden.

Please continue praying as we continue to travel in New England. Pray churches will gain a burden for the United Kingdom .
