This past weekend was very enjoyable. It all started as we arrived at Chester Baptist Church in Chester, Massachusetts. This church is beautifully placed within the 7 hill towns of Massachusetts. Pastor Daniel Herr explained the amazing work that God by converting this church from a Catholic church to the Baptist church that it is today.
That afternoon Brittany had the opportunity to teach a sign language class to children and their moms. She had fun as so many of the children were already very interested in sign language. As Brittany taught we were reminded of the great work God did in Brittany's heart learning sign language as a teenager. The great burden to reach the Deaf with the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world we believe God has given to Chester Baptist Church. Thank the Lord for the encouragement that these families were with their desire to learn something that can be used for the Lord in a might way.
God is Love!
On the Lord's Day we had the privilege to stay the entire day at Chester Baptist Church. During the morning service Brittany led the children in a special song in sign language. It was awesome! We were able to take the evening service to share God's work in the United Kingdom. We believe God worked in a mighty way in our midst that night.
We praise the Lord for the kindness and hospitality of the Herr family. They invited us into their home and spoiled us with such things as a "MASS"ive pizza! (haha) We are thrilled with the friendship we made with them as God knit our hearts together. Thank you, Herr family!
I'm glad you had such a good visit and that the Lord was able to use your gifts for his glory. That pizza looks good!
