We hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving! Brittany and I were privileged to spend the day with the team of people we work with. May we remember to thank God for the mercies He bestows upon us everyday.
Beeches Road just held their annual Mission Conference. A young missionary couple to China came and shared what God was doing there. On the first night of the conference adults and children were encouraged to dress up in international attire. What a great opportunity for young children to be exposed to missions. Every detail seemed to go well from the mission village to the mission dinner to the missionary stories.
"The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed."
What a blessing and privilege it has been to be a part of a team of like-minded missionaries as we serve the Lord in England! Their advice and encouragement learned from personal experience have proven invaluable. Please be in prayer for those on our team who have returned to the States to raise additional financial funds as VISA regulations have changed since they initially arrived in the UK. May God bring in the necessary funds so they can return soon.
A few weeks ago was our Autumn Holiday Bible Club. All the crafts, games, skits, and Bible lessons were centered on the story of Samson. What a blessing to see many children come for the very first time! It was encouraging to see these same children return for Sunday School and Sword Club the following week. Pray for their salvation and for the open door into the families they represent. Praise the Lord for the one child who prayed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior during the week!
